About The Initiative

The initiative has been conceived for new and emerging talent, art house productions and those with limited funding. Our goal is simple: giving them a home at Shadowbox with access to premium soundstages.

The enhanced support will also include access to the Shadowbox network including special rates with local businesses and in Atlanta lighting and grip support; plus, across all sites, advocacy of projects as needed.

As Shadowbox expands globally, the initiative with follow- reflecting our commitment to be true partners to the creative communities where we are based.

Eligibility

The initiative is open to all independent productions and/or those that qualify for the UK Government Independent Film Tax Credit.

No, Shadowbox does not accept script submissions. However, the team is excited to see your scripts come to life at our facilities around the world!

No, Shadowbox does not provide financing for film & television projects. Shadowbox Studios is a global studio operations partner, and will provide studio, backlot, workshop and office space for independent productions at accessible rates and provide premium studio management support.

Shadowbox does not commission or produce any of the projects made at our facilities, and does not accept unsolicited scripts or production materials. Shadowbox Studios is proud to be a partner to production by providing premium soundstage facilities and studio management support to create an environment for a filmmakers’ creative vision to come to life.

Support will include access to the Shadowbox network including special rates with local businesses and in Atlanta lighting and grip support; plus, across all sites, advocacy of projects as needed. In the UK, Shadowbox Independent will also connect productions to Screen Berkshire and the Berkshire Film Office, thus opening the door to local locations, talent, trusted partners and a range of benefits, including trainees and apprentices.
